Funding for synthesis and emerging research on climate change impacts and adaptation.

The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility undertakes a program of research that addresses national research priorities, synthesises existing and emerging research on climate change impacts and adaptation.

This program of research provides decision makers with the information they need to manage the risks of climate change.

Outputs should have direct relevance to policy makers and should be delivered in an accessible format.

Proposals are invited for research projects under the following three areas:

1. Flooding in Australia
2. Bridging the gap between user needs and science capability: dealing with uncertainty in climate scenarios for adaptation
3. Factors and measures that have helped overcome barriers to adaptation
